CalContractorPrep (calcontractorprep.com) is run by Plumbline Apps, an individual developer ("we", "us"). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What we offer

CalContractorPrep is a study tool for the California Law and Business contractor exam. It includes free study notes, a free practice quiz, and paid practice questions and mock exams. Not affiliated with or endorsed by the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB). Our practice questions are not real exam questions.

Your purchase

• Full access costs $59, paid once. It gives one person 12 months of access from the date of payment. It does not renew and we will not charge you again.
• Payment is processed by Creem, our merchant of record. Creem's terms also apply to the payment.
• You can get a full refund within 7 days of purchase. See the refund policy.

Your account

• You log in with a link sent to your email. Keep access to your email account secure.
• Your access is for you only. Do not share your account or login links.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• copy, sell, or publish our questions, explanations, or notes;
• use bots or scripts to download content from the site;
• try to break, overload, or get around the security of the site.

We may end access, without a refund, for an account that breaks these rules. We will tell you by email first.

No guarantee, and not legal advice

We work hard to keep every question accurate and to cite its source, but laws and government guides change, and mistakes can happen. If you find an error, please report it. The site is for study only. It is not legal, tax, or business advice. We do not promise that you will pass any exam or get a license. Always check the official sources and cslb.ca.gov. Limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Changes do not reduce access you have already paid for.
